Following Spain's Euro 2016 exit at the hands of Italy, Iker Casillas has suggested that his international career is over by sharing a scene from Rambo on social media.

In the movie clip, from the end of Rambo 2, Sylvester Stallone's character announces that he is leaving.

"I'm proud to feel the affection of all the people with #GraciasCasillas today and always those with the national team," the Porto goalkeeper tweeted along with the video.

"I don't know where, but I'm going," Rambo says in the clip.

"Come back for what?" he asks Colonel Sam Trautman. "My friends died here and a part of me died here.

"Asked by the colonel what he wants, Rambo says he wants to give everything he has.

"[Anyone who comes here] wants his country to want it as much as we want it," he adds.

It is the only tweet that the 35-year-old has sent since Monday evening's defeat.
