Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has praised the atmosphere around Wales' Euro 2016 campaign, stating that there's a great relationship between all the players.

It looks as though there are smiles all round the Wales camp ahead of next month's European Championships in France. Chris Coleman's side qualified for the tournament in impressive style, and will now look to continue their good form over the summer.

However Wales face a tough task to progress past the group stages, going up against England, Russia and Slovakia for a place in the next round.

Ramsey states that the team's recent performances are down to their tight-knit dressing room which, according to the midfielder, is full of "banter".

He told the London Evening Standard, amid his team's Euro 16 preparation: "We're on a Whatsapp group, the banter is flying on it. We're a good group of lads, we all understand our roles and responsibilities on the pitch but also we enjoy each other's company; we're quite a closely knit group."

Coleman will hope that the team continues to gel, as their incredible underdog story goes on.

As for Ramsey's club, Arsenal have been much criticised despite finishing second this term, with the 25-year-old himself taking a fair-share of the blame. He scored five goals for the Gunners this season in 31 top flight appearances, whilst creating 37 chances for his teammates.

His importance to Wales though is unquestionable, as his combination play with Gareth Bale is an important part of Coleman's success.
